Just a quick update to confirm details for the placing and delivery of order before Christmas.

To guarantee postal delivery before Christmas all orders should be received by Sunday evening at the latest. These orders will be posted by Express Post by close of business on Monday and will then arrive sometime Tuesday (or to regional areas Wednesday at the latest).

We will be open most of next week in the lead-up to Christmas (see details below), however any orders for pickup at the studio & shop will need to be placed by the end of Monday at the latest.

Another week and another brand new style!

With several months of development, testing and reconfiguring the oversize shoulderbag is finally ready.

This is the largest shoulderbag we’ve created and is substantially larger than the wide shoulderbag.

There are several additions including a super heavy duty zipper and extra pockets on the inside of the external document pouch pocket.

This would be the perfect nappy bag, or would be equally at home carrying a 15" laptop and other work or uni books etc.

It’s official, our fantastic new range of shoulderbags – the BOBEFF have finally been added to the online store.

These bags are exactly the same as our A4, zipper and wide shoulderbag styles except the outer is made entirely of black backpack fabric (now sourced from a local manufacturer) and each bag comes with two different coloured straps (one charcoal and one colour of your choice) that can be clipped on and off and interchanged as required.

The straps are currently available in nine colours – bold red, burnt orange, forest green, light grey, yellow, aqua blue, brown, purple and a very bright fluoro orange for the safety conscious cyclist.

Several of our stockists already have a selection of these available including Craft Victoria, Five Boroughs, Sedonia and Heaton & May, with further details also on our here.

We will be taking part in several events as part of the State of Design Festival.

One of these events will be our very own digital textile design competition which will be an chance for designers, photographers, illustrators and anybody else who is keen to have a go at design a fabric panel for our bags.

We are very much excited to be making another trip to Sydney, this time for our first Finders Keepers.

Although it may appear we have taken an extended holiday, things have actually been super busy behind the scenes.

The biggest news would be the move to our beautiful new home in Gertrude Street, Fitzroy.

This will be both a production space and shopfront, allowing customers to see bags being made when they visit.

We are still adding the finishing touches to the new space, and will be sure to post any developments here.

As several of our market customers may know we have recently introduced a selection of fabrics by Julie Paterson of Cloth in Sydney.

These are all printed on beautiful base fabrics which include commercial upholstery, and organic cotton and hemp fabrics.

Several of our stockists have these in their stores at the moment, along with our weekend market stalls and of course this our online store.

We’re very pleased to welcome a number of new local and interstate stockists for our bags.

Our customers in NSW will be happy to know we are now available at the Royal Botanic Gardens Shop in Sydney and Honeybee in Newcastle.

Closer to home we have recently begun stocking a range of our bags in the latest fabrics at both the Ballarat Fine Art Gallery and Heaton and May in Olinda.
