We always do our very best to get your order delivered in the most timely manner possible.
For both local and international orders we exclusively use Australia Post.
All orders are delivered with online tracking (apart from a small number of international orders where it might not be available) which means you'll be able to see exactly when your new bag has arrived (or where it might be if it hasn't arrived).
Of course if you've any suggestions or feedback about this we'd love to hear it.
Packaging materials
All posted orders will arrive in a 100% recycled cardboard boxes and/or packaging.
This best protects your bag during delivery and ensures the minimum of packaging material is used.
Please help further reduce the impact of our packaging by reusing or recycling it further wherever possible.
Pickup from the mattt HQ
- Customers are welcome to pickup their order from mattt HQ in the Nicholas Building, Melbourne CBD.
- This obviously means delivery is free.
- Orders can be collected during our business hours or by appointment outside these times.
- Just select mattt HQ pickup under the delivery options.
Standard delivery within Australia - 2 to 5 days from being posted
- Standard delivery (by Australia Post Regular) is normally $9.50 to anywhere in Australia.
- Orders within the Melbourne metropolitan area are delivered by Australia Post Express (as this costs the same as regular postage).
- A work address or PO Box is sometimes easier as your order won’t need to be collected from your local post office.
Express delivery within Australia - 1 to 2 days from being posted
- Express delivery (by Australia Post Express) is $16.50 to any address within regional Victoria, New South Wales, ACT, South Australia and Tasmania.
- Express delivery the rest of Australia is $21.50, including Western Australia, Northern Territory and Queensland.
- A work address or PO Box is sometimes easier as your order won’t need to be collected from your local post office.
Delivery to New Zealand - 3 to 7 days from being posted
- Delivery is $21.50 to any address within New Zealand, and usually takes between 7 to 10 days to arrive from the order being placed.
- Australia Post Airmail is used for all deliveries to New Zealand.
- A signature will be required upon delivery, so a work address or PO Box is sometimes easier.
International delivery - about 10 days from being posted
- Postage for deliveries over 500 grams to international addresses costs $27.50, and can take up to twenty days to arrive (but normally closer to twelve) from the order being placed.
- For all orders under 500 grams (the Small Shoulderbag, Skinny Zip and iPad Mini Sleeve) postage is $22.50
- Australia Post International Airmail is used for all international orders.
- All import fees and taxes are the responsibility of the customer, however we are more than happy to help determine what these might be before your order is sent.
Standard delivery within Australia
- Standard delivery (by Australia Post Registered) is $8.50 to any address within Australia.
- Orders within the Melbourne metropolitan area are delivered by Australia Post Express for the same price.
- You will receive an additional email to confirm the delivery date and details.
- A work or PO Box is sometimes easier as your order won’t need to be collected from your local post office.
